Namely, according to a study by the British Medical Journal, cavities can be reversed. The study was done with 62 children with cavities who were divided into 3 groups. The first group took vitamin D and ate a grain-free diet; the second group took vitamin D and followed a normal diet, whereas the third group ate regular food in combination with oatmeal.
At the end of the study, the third group had increased cavities; the second one had improvements, whereas the first group had the best results as almost all of their cavities had healed. The study showed that there is a possibility to heal cavities with proper diet.
The reasons for tooth decay
One of the main reasons for cavities is not enough fat-soluble vitamins in your diet like A, D, E, and K, as well as lack of minerals. When there is lack of vitamins and minerals in the body and high level of phytates in the body, the phosphorus and calcium ratio become misbalanced and the minerals are pulled from the bones which results in bone loss and tooth decay.

Consume foods rich in vitamin A, D, K, and E
Take supplements like gelatin-very good for gums and digestion, magnesium- needed for use of phosphorus and magnesium effectively, and fermented cod liver oil
